INTRODUCING Dex

Dex is a manually operated tool used to test the function of the non-return valve on commercial diving helmets as an alternative to oral testing. Dex is made from high quality diver-breathing-grade materials and reduces the chance of pathogens entering the diver's air train. The compressible bulb is a first time-use scientific gas sampling bulb ensuring that it has not been made from reconstituted rubber that may contain hydrocarbons. Other components may be familiar to commercial divers, such as EGS breathing hose and fittings commonly seen on dive umbilicals.
